The Path to Flourishing Without Advantages 007|Life as Computational Work: Refuse Internal Friction, Reclaim Rendering Rights for Every Frame

✍️ Yeats📅 Wed Oct 28👁️ 0🔁 0[Practice]

Problem: Why are we so busy every day, yet constantly feel a sense of emptiness and deep internal attrition?

Answer: Because your brain’s computational power is either “diverted” by algorithms to mine for others, or “idling” in anxiety and comparison, generating waste heat. The true solution is to pour 100% of your computational power into the physical work of the present moment—and to complete the reorganization of memory fragments at night.

Preface: Life, A Game of Computational Work

People love to liken time to a river, lamenting the passage of years. But if we strip away the artistic filter and look through the lens of the Dao’s underlying physics engine, the essence of life is brutally cold and precise: it is a game of “Computational Work.”

Our brain is a CPU; time is the system’s refresh rate (frame rate, FPS). Buddhism speaks of “nine hundred births and deaths in a single instant”—in systems engineering, that means your world is re-rendering every microsecond.

Yet the most brutal truth of this game is this: for most people, the computational power in every frame is either diverted (stolen) by external forces or idled in internal friction. Only a rare few—the awakened—can lock their computational power, dead and certain, onto the physical work of building themselves.

I. Computational Power Diverted: Reduced to a “Free Zombie” for Algorithms and Capital

Why do most people feel that life is empty, devoid of any real achievement?

Because their brain’s firewall is essentially nonexistent, and the world’s “attention economy” has implanted a Trojan horse.

When you keep swiping up on short videos, when algorithms hold you hostage to chase seconds of sensory stimulation, when you’re arguing with strangers in a comment section over an influencer you’ve never even met—in physics, this is called “Computational Power Diverted.”

Your body is clearly plugged in, but every byte your brain computes gets packaged and shipped to a capitalist’s server, a politician’s vote pool. You live an entire life, looking busy every single day, when in reality you’ve been reduced to a “Zombie Computer”—burning your own GPU to mine for someone else’s profit.

II. Computational Idling: The “System Heat Death” of Revving in Neutral

More tragic than having your computational power diverted is Computational Idling.

What is idling? The brain (the navigation system) is computing frantically, but the body has produced zero physical displacement.

Lying in bed, anxious about tomorrow’s work. Running lateral comparisons in your head, jealous of someone else’s starting point. Chewing over a single cutting remark, rehearsing in your mind how you should have fired back.

At this moment, your CPU is pegged at 100%, the chassis is overheating, but the driveshaft (execution) is disconnected. In physics, no displacement means no work done (W = 0). All that computational power has degraded into waste heat from static friction. This useless, high-grade heat will eventually burn through your nervous system—triggering depression, internal attrition, total collapse. This is the root of suffering for the vast majority of mortals.

System Operating Mode Core Manifestations & Characteristics Physics & System Metaphor Final Result
Computational Power Diverted Addicted to algorithms, short videos, meaningless online arguments Reduced to a “Zombie Computer” mining for others Energy plundered; life empty, devoid of achievement
Computational Idling Brain frantically anxious, re-chewing emotions, no actual action 100% utilization but zero displacement; static-friction waste heat Burns through the nervous system; deep depression and internal attrition
Computational Work 100% focus on present action; redundant emotions cut Computational power converted into real, local physical work System upgrade complete; admin privileges of the brain reclaimed

III. Investing Every Frame in Yourself: The Ultimate “Local Physical Work”

Those with the “Five Nothings” possess nothing. The only thing we can command is the computational power of this one frame, right now.

Pouring every frame’s computational power into yourself is not selfishness. It is the most radical respect you can show the “daily fuel” the universe has dispensed.

When you’re pruning oranges in the orchard, your computational power doesn’t drift to the past or the future. It is 100% locked onto the physical contact between the shears and the orange blossom. When someone vents at you, you don’t call up computational power to compile a counter-argument. You use it to read the other person’s error code—and switch your own chassis to bear the load.

The past is deleted cache. The future is an unloaded scene. You guard only this one frame, rendered in the present.

IV. How to Practice: Day-Frequency Full-Power Rendering, Night-Frequency Memory-Slice Reading

No matter how high-dimensional the theory, it must ultimately land as an execution manual for the three-dimensional world. How do we allocate this 24-hour budget of computational power?

1. Daytime (Day-Frequency): Full-Power Rendering of the Present

In the workplace, in the labor—cut every redundant background emotion. Pour 100% of your computational power into the work right in front of you. How do I optimize this report? How do I refine this process? You don’t need to like the job. You are borrowing the job to train your CPU’s peak throughput.

2. Nighttime (Night-Frequency): Allow Relaxation, Then Initiate “Disk Reorganization”

After work, when you get home, let yourself slack. Let the system that’s been running hot all day drop into low-power mode.
But before bed, give yourself thirty minutes. Open the highest-privilege “Introspection (Debug).”

Go read a “Memory Snapshot” that surfaces in your mind.

Observe the self in that frame, purely. Feel the joy, anger, sorrow, and delight within it. Watch how the emotion arises, abides, shifts, and ceases.

Then—make peace with the self in that frame. Invite him back.
Do not reject the self who was once cowardly, furious, or foolish. Without the code that went wrong in that frame, there would be no system now, immune to every poison. Thank that frame’s self. Accept him, wholly, back into your main unit. This is the most perfect fragment recovery a system can perform.

V. Awakening Yourself, Becoming Your Own Master: The Ultimate Power of Every Frame Combined

Captain Marvel’s awakening scene: Carol doesn’t suddenly gain an external force. She reconnects every past frame of herself that was suppressed, severed, rewritten. The energy of that explosion, the erased memories, the years the Kree stamped as “Vers,” and every experience she lived as Carol—all of it re-parallelized in a single frame. The inhibitor snaps, and those scattered computational streams stop canceling each other out. They stack into a total power, freely callable.

But in the real three-dimensional world, we still have to rely on time and physical effort to do the work.
Without time and physical effort doing the work, no matter how top-tier the code, it’s just a virtual string sitting on a hard drive.
Only when the body starts to sweat, starts to practice, is that code truly etched into the causal chain of the three-dimensional world.

📚 Appendix: Academic Corroboration & Theoretical Sources

This practice—binding “Computational Work” to “fragment integration and awakening”—meshes precisely with the core theories of modern neuroscience and depth psychology:

1. On “Computational Idling” and “Local Physical Work”

Academic Correspondence: Default Mode Network (DMN) and Flow
Source: Neuroscientist Marcus Raichle; Psychologist Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi.
Corroboration: When the brain sinks into regret and anxiety (idling), the Default Mode Network runs at full load, generating massive neural attrition (static friction). Conversely, directing 100% of attention into the physical work of the present (Flow) forces the DMN’s self-referential cortex offline, driving Psychic Entropy to its minimum and achieving a 100% conversion rate of system computational power.

2. On “Reading Memory Slices” and “Inviting Him Back”

Academic Correspondence: Memory Reconsolidation (neuroscience)
Source: Neuroscientist Karim Nader.
Corroboration: Memory is not a read-only file burned onto a hard drive. When we retrieve a painful memory (a Memory Snapshot) in a state of safety, that synaptic pathway enters a labile, plastic state. Injecting the new code of “acceptance and gratitude” at that moment, the brain physically overwrites the memory’s traumatic metadata—completing a true disk reorganization.

3. On “The Power of Every Frame Combined” and “Removing the Inhibitor”

Academic Correspondence: Jungian analytical psychology—Shadow Integration and Individuation
Source: Carl Jung, The Undiscovered Self.
Corroboration: Jung observed that people feel weak or drained from within because they have suppressed traits that violate social expectations (failure, vulnerability, impulsivity) into the unconscious “Shadow.” This functions exactly like the inhibitor in the film—system computational power canceling itself out. Only when the individual dares to face and accept every shattered frame of the past, re-parallelizing Shadow and consciousness, can they release an immense psychic energy (total power), complete the final awakening of Individuation, and become their own true master.

Conclusion

Stop asking what the meaning of life is.
The meaning of life is to reclaim the admin privileges of your brain. By day, crush reality’s obstacles like a precision bulldozer. By night, like a compassionate creator, recover your scattered soul fragments.

When you no longer waste a single frame of computational power, and you parallelize all of the past into the present—rip off that inhibitor. Go. Burst with your own light.
